The 1^st Air Festival organized by the Turkish Aviation Association (THK) Gaziantep Branch attracted great attention. Gaziantep Governor Süleyman Kamçı, THK Gaziantep Branch President Erol Yalçın, a businessman from Gaziantep Ahmet Şahap Ünlü and about 2 thousand people attended to the 1^st Air Festival organized with contribution of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. At the festival held in Gaziantep airport, which attracted the attentions of especially the women, shows like parachute, plane, motor paragliding, balloon, radio controller plane and light motor plane (Microlighete) were carried out. For participation of citizens in the festival, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality provided free transportation service. (TB-CC-CC-Y)

De Dion is remembered with the front assembly system he discovered but there is neither an automobile nor company at present. The reason of this the ignorant and unsuccessful managers. More than 6 thousand automobile brands passed from the world history. Only 70-80 brands remained. The secret of success is the knowledge. If there is knowledge, it is possible to use it “good”. On the other hand, it is possible to use the knowledge “bad” but you cannot be both the ignorant and “good”.

Demirel: Turkey is cutting her golden egg laying chicken in energy

The 9^th President of Republic Süleyman Demirel said that, “In fact, Turkey is cutting her golden egg laying chicken by taking the tax in advance in energy.” Demirel attended to the committee titled “how energy policies of political parties are shaped while Turkey is going to elections” organized at Mega Residence Hotel by Eco energy Magazine.
Demirel said that if the taxes imposed on energy in Turkey were kept low, investments could be encouraged and later much higher taxes could be earned from manufactures. Demirel said “In fact, Turkey is cutting her golden egg-laying chicken by taking the tax in advance in energy.”

Demirel who reminded Turkey was not so rich in her natural sources emphasized that energy subject must take place in the first rank of the economy agenda. Demirel pointed out that the government had to find energy and present it to the public and comfort of country was depended on this.

The management of a newspaper wants their columnists to be experts and as well as to make a research in detail before writing their articles in their columns and to use perfect Turkish. (There are columnists who do not obey these rules).
I mainly write about the industry and economy, especially about automotive industry. I have various experiences on that subject. In developed countries, there are columnists who only write about automotive. In our country, some of articles are original and some of them are translated from West magazines. But total of them does not make half of a circulation of a single automotive magazine sold in Europe.

In a country like Turkey, it is impossible to talk about politics while writing about economy and industry. Politics is made like a football. Politicians always raise objection to the referee. (Sometimes they are shown red or yellow card!). Audiences are not interested in good football; they always want their team to win. Their team is not interested in their fans; they only want them to buy tickets and shout. Such comparisons may be continued

INFORMATION ABOUT THE TURKEY- TAJIKISTAN BUSINESS COUNCIL

The Turkish side of the Turkey-Tajikistan was established in 1993. During visit of the Tajikistan Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, İzatullah Hayoves to our country in 1994 May, necessary mutual agreements were obtained but the opposite wing could not start its activities for a long time. The opposite wing of the Turkey- Tajikistan business council could only be established when the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Tajikistan on 23-24 October 2003. The chairman of the Turkey- Tajikistan business council is Ahmet Şahap Ünlü. The chairman of the opposite wing is the Chairman of Tajikistan Chamber of Industry and Trade Şarif Saidov. Thanks to establishment of opposite wing of the Turkey- Tajikistan business council, Turkey- Tajikistan business council could find a chance to carry out its studies more effectively. The first joint meeting was realized within the framework of visit of the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tajikistan on 23-24 October 2003.
