GTO will host the introduction of Turkey-Spain Commercial Cooperation Opportunities

A Country Introductory Meeting will be organized at GTO to introduce the commercial cooperation opportunities between Turkey and Spain under the scope of project titled “Development of Commercial Cooperation between Gaziantep and Gipuzkoa Regions “carried out under partnership of Gaziantep Chamber of Trade (GTO) and Spain, Gipuzka Chamber of Trade and Industry.GTO General Secretary Mesut Ölçül stated that “ At the meeting to be organized at our Chamber on 26 March Thursday under the scope of said project with cooperation of GTO and Gipuzkoa Chamber of Trade and Industry, information about the Spain market will be given to KOBİs in Gaziantep and possible cooperation opportunities will be introduced

PEOPLE FROM İSLAHİYE MEET IN İSTANBUL.

People from islahiye gathered together in Istanbul. Gaziantep University Rector, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Coşkun, Vice Undersecretary of the Undersecretariat of Maritime Affairs, Hamza Taşkesen, Sakarya University Instructor, Prof. Dr. Salih Şimşek, İslühiye Chamber of Trade Chairman, Kemal Vural, İslahiye Sports Club President, Celal Akkaya, Adana İslahiyeliler Foundation President, Volkan Kaya, Ankara İslahiyeliler Foundation President, Olcay Erdoğan, Antalya İslahiyeliler Foundation member, Haydar Doğan, OPET Anatolian High School Vice Principal, Ahmet Kurt, Businessman Yılmaz Göldağ, Baki Ersoy, Businessman Ahmet Şahap Ünlü , Businessman and Audit Board member Cuma Öztürk, and former State Minister, Ahmet Karahat participated in the İslahiye Night organized at Bahçelievler Marriage Office-Piramit Restaurant. The guest artist, Burhan Atik who entertained the guests with a feast of Turkish classic music his beautiful voice at the night, exhilarated the saloon and later people danced to halay together with regional folk songs sung by Mehmet Yakar. During the night, plaques were given to persons who contributed in introduction and development of İslahiye. Then, during the grant campaign made for İslahiye sport, about 250 thousand TL was collected from the businessmen as a grant

Dinner with Austria Industrialists Federation Carinthia Committee

A dinner was organized on October 9, 2008, at Konyalı Restaurant for the businessmen committee consisted of Carinthia Statebusinessmen under leadership of Austria Industrialists Federation. The Turkish-Austria Business Council Vice Presidents Mr. Tevfik Bilgen, Mr. Nurlu Esemenli, Mrs. Ayşe Kolat and Mr. Ahmet Şahap Ünlü, Turkey-Austria Business Council Execution Board members Mr. Cafer Sait Okray and Mr. Hayri İnönü, Austria Industrialists Federation Karintiye department member Paul Wieser, Austria Commerce Consultant Marco Garcia and DEİK Business Council vice Coordinator Leyla Gürbüz attended to the dinner and at the dinner, the structure of DEİK and activities of the business council were explained.

İstanbul İslahiyeliler Foundation realized its traditional “night2 on 5^th December Saturday, at Bahçelievler Piramit restaurant.
Despite of the negative traffic and climate conditions, the participation was high. Our fellow countrymen both in İstanbul and outside İstanbul participated in the night and they both enlivened the night and honored us.

Meeting with Carinthia State Businessmen Committee

A meeting was held with a committee consisting of businessmen in the Carinthia state under the chairmanship of Franz Pacher, the Chairman of the Austria Carintja Chamber of Commerce. The said committee consists of representatives from active companies in wood industry, distribution, communication, and manufacture of furnace machinery. In the meeting attended by the Chairman of Turkish-Austrian Business Council, Mr. Sadi Gücüm, the Vice Chairman of Turkish-Austrian Business Council, Mr. Nurlu Esemenli, Membran. Tevfik Bilgen and Mr. Ahmet Şahap Ünlü, Deputy Director of European Free Zone, Mr, Cüneyt Çalık, DEİK Regional Coordinator (Deputy), Ms. Aslı Akdeniz Özelli, and DEİK Business Council Deputy Coordinator, Ms. Leyla Gürbüz, the Chairman of the Business Council presented he comparison of Austria and Turkey with numbers. Franz Pacher, the Chairman of the Carinthia Chamber of Commerce, mentioned the cooperation opportunities between the SMEs of the two countries especially in the fields of renewable energy, tourism, and construction. Also, the participation and support of the Turkish-Austrian Business Council in the meeting of CEE Economic Forum in 2009, which is held annually in the capital of the state of Carinthia, were discussed.
